Mildred Grantham Junker, 92, 703 Guilford St., died Friday at her residence with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Faith Free Will Baptist Church, 1200 Grantham St., with the Rev. Dann Patrick officiating. There will be a time of sharing with the family from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church. The committal service will follow if weather permits at Seven Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery, Seven Springs.
Surviving is her daughter; Blanche "Bea" Smith of the home, a son; Dan Junker (Linda) of Corbin, Ky.; a brother, Robert Grantham of Valrico, Fla.; along with seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Junker was a native of Washington, D.C., and was the daughter of the late Frances Birch Grantham and the late Robert Grantham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Everett Junker, and sibling, Ruth Grantham. Mrs. Junker was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church and was active with the Cancer Society.
The family requests that memorial be made to Faith Free Will Baptist Church, 1200 Grantham St., Goldsboro, NC 27530.
