MARGARET F. HOLLAND

Margaret Floyd Holland, 85, died Wednesday at her home.
She was born in Sampson County to the late Joe and Mattie Mae Floyd, and was married to the late Wallace Holland.
Margaret was a member of Falling Creek United Methodist Church, and was known for her love of children and animals.
In her younger years, she cared for many children, including Donald Smith, Wannett Miller, Nancy Lancaster, Kim Warren and Scott Britt.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Bob Clark officiating.
The family will be receiving friends Friday afternoon from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
Mrs. Holland is survived by Sue Eagerton of Lumberton and several other sisters; many special friends; and her two canine companions, Heidi and Ginger.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Holland.
