MARGARET BOYD PIGATT

Margaret Boyd Pigatt was born on Feb. 11, 1937, to the late James and Edna Redd Boyd. She departed this earthly life on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Services were held Saturday by E.M. Matthews Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy Boyd, Richard Boyd and Robert Boyd.
Margaret was born in Charleston, S.C. She attended and graduated Bruce School in Charleston. In 1976, she moved to Goldsboro, and worked at Textilease, Inc. for three years. In 1933, she joined Deeper Life Church Ministries, where she was a faithful member until her death.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories one daughter, Donna Moses Vaughan (Antonio); two sons, Dale Edward Boyd (Althea) and Vincent Andre Boyd (Beverly), all of Goldsboro; 12 grandchildren, Ahmed Boyd of Afghanistan, Vincent Boyd Jr., of Virginia Beach, Va., Keilon Boyd (Tabitha), Melisha Thompson (Lanado), Monique Townsend (Kevin), Umique Boyd (Danielle), Nichole Richberg (Charles), Eddie Moses (Tonya), Sierra Williams, Zyaira Boyd, Sarah Vaughan, and Elizabeth Vaughan, all of Goldsboro; two sisters, Eliza Storne of Lithonia, Ga., and Edna Bunkin (Henry), of Charleston, SC; and two brothers, Matthew (Alethia) and Harold Boyd of Charleston, S.C.; a spiritual daughter, Anita James, of Goldsboro; a special friend, Jane Speede Cox, of Goldsboro; 29 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
