JOHN FRANKLIN CLARK

John Franklin Clark peacefully left his temporary home on earth Nov. 1, 2010, at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
John was born to the late Leroy Clark and Nettie Smith Clark Aug. 30, 1952.
He graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1972, and received a degree in business administration from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University in Greensboro, N.C., in 1975.
John is survived by his son, Brian Clark; niece, Colette Sherard; cousins, Charles Artis, Terry Maxwell and Diane Watts; nephew, Kwaku Clark; niece, Tonya Clark; and sister, Anne Hurrey.
A memorial service to celebrate the life and music of John Clark will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Victory Faith Center Outreach Ministries on U.S. 13 South.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
