Cathie "Cami" Cere Spencer Price went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Sunday afternoon at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A funeral will be held this evening at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory at 6 p.m., with the Rev. Reynolds Smith and Terry Heath officiating. The visitation will immediately follow the service. Interment will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Patetown Cemetery.
Cami was born Aug. 20, 1953, in Amarillo, Texas, to Charlene Taylor Spencer and Jack Spencer.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Brandi Price Matthews and husband, Brad, and Lindsey Price Sanders and husband, Aaron. She is also survived by her brothers, Michael Spencer and wife, Patsy, and Ricky Spencer; three nephews, Scott Kearney, Brian and Jeff Spencer; and a niece, Alyssa Price.
Cami also had three grandchildren who were the apple of her eye, Chandler, Caleb and Clay Matthews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Mark Spencer.
Cami graduated from Eastern Wayne High School, and was a member of Free Gospel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
The family will be at the home of Brandi and Brad Matthews, 295 Stoney Creek Church Road.
Flowers are welcome; donations may also be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
