ASHEVILLE -- Kathleen Anderson Myers, 82, of 209 Crowell Square Court, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010.
For those wishing to pay respects, she will be interred Monday, Aug. 30, adjacent to her late husband, Otis, at Wayne Memorial Park. It was her wish for no graveside service.
Mrs. Myers was born July 23, 1928, in Wayne County, and was the daughter of the late Robert and Maggie Anderson. She was married to the late Otis Myers.
Surviving are one daughter, Kathy V. Myers of Asheville; a son, Cecil Myers of San Francisco; a sister, Effie Mitchell of Dudley; and a brother, Jessie Anderson of Missouri.
Instead of flowers, donations may be made to CarePartners Hospice Solace Center, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813, or to any hospice.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue, Asheville, is assisting with the arrangements.
