KENNETH ALVIN FOSTER

Retired Air Force master sergeant Kenneth Alvin Foster, 76, passed away Wednesday afternoon at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family and friends.
Kenneth was a native of McMinn County, Tenn., and was preceded in death by his mother, Ora Nell Davis Foster of Athens, Tenn.; his father, Alvin Lloyd Foster; and his brother, Charles Foster.
He retired from the United States Air Force with 22 years of service in 1975.
Kenneth also worked at AP Parts in Goldsboro until his retirement in 1996.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with full military honors.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Vinia "Jimmie" Fleming Foster; his daughters, Lea Hubbard and her husband, Derek, of Pikeville and Kimberly Jordan and her husband, Sam, of Franklinton; her sons, Michael Foster and wife, Karin, of Scranton, Pa., and Carl Foster of Goldsboro; his sister, Linda Gail Murphy of Goldsboro; his brother, Bobby Joe Foster of Cleveland, Tenn.; his grandchildren, Dana Whaley, Michael Foster, David Thornton, Amber Rodriguez, Seth Jordan and Mackenzie Jordan; two great-grandchildren, Gabriel Whaley and Hannah Whaley; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at his residence.
