Margaret Schweizer Watkins, 78, 215 Peachtree Drive, Goldsboro, died June 3.
Born Nov. 3, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Edward Arthur and Katherine Ludway Schweizer and the widow of the late Harold Franklin Watkins Sr.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Harold Franklin Watkins Jr., and a brother, John Schweizer.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at Love Memorial Baptist Church in Goldsboro, with the Rev. Richard Toler officiating.
Mrs. Watkins is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John Glenn and Linda Watkins of Dingman's Ferry, Pa.; her daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Raymond Evans of Goldsboro; her brothers, Edward Schweizer of New Bern, Michael Schweizer and wife, Dorothy, of New Bern and Joseph Schweizer and wife, Marie, of Haskell, N.J.; her grandchildren, Adrienne Watkins, Eric Evans, McKayla Evans, Erica Watkins, Sheena Watkins, John Paul Watkins and Matt Watkins; and her five great-grandchildren, Dackota Read, Gavyn Read, Alyssa Blejwas, Brianna Blejwas and Michael Blejwas.
