GERALDINE S. TAYLOR

FAISON -- Geraldine Sutton Williams Taylor, 78, 159 Eddice Taylor Road, died Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Mount Olive, with Dr. Dennis Atwood officiating. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Taylor was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, and was a retired school teacher.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. F. Donnell Taylor of the home; three daughters and their husbands, Sharon and Arnold DuBois of Faison, Gerri and Michael Cox of Shallotte and Donna and Jerry Allen of Goldsboro; a stepdaughter, Mandy Baker of Faison; a stepson, Donnie Taylor of Faison; three sisters, Faye Phillips of Charlotte, Linda Creech of Goldsboro and Lorraine Willeford of Danville, Va.; three brothers, Dennis Sutton of Suttontown, Nelas Sutton of Mount Olive and Morris Sutton of Mount Pleasant; along with nine grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and at the home at other times.
In lieu of flowers, they request that memorial gifts be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center Expansion Fund, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of Tyndall Funeral Home of Mount Olive.
