PATSY R. BARTLOW

CATLIN, Ill. -- Patsy R. Bartlow, 83, passed away at 9:53 a.m. May 11 at her home.
Graveside rites were held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Sunset Cemetery in Danville, Ill., with pastor Lester Hunter officiating.
She was born Feb. 13, 1927, in Greenville, Ill., to Homer and Blanche Dennis Wiley. Pasty married Riley L. Bartlow Aug. 14, 1949, in Danville. He passed away April 1, 2007.
Patsy was a graduate of Lakeview School of Nursing, and was a registered nurse and spent most of her career as a private duty nurse in Danville.
She enjoyed playing bridge, and in her early years, she played softball on the Oblong City team from 1939-1944 and semi-professional in Evansville, Ind., in 1945.
Other survivors include a son, Richard (Susan) Bartlow of Dunlap, Ill.; a daughter, Susan (Lester) Hunter of Wilmington,; three sisters, Jean (Charley) Curtis of Avon, Ind., Sue (Don) Clark of Robinson, Ill., and Becky Engel of Danville; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Visitation was from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Robison Chapel in Catlin.
Memorials in Patsy's memory may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or the donor's choice.
