PRINCETON -- Clara Lee Holloman, 81, 1258 Princeton Road, died Tuesday morning.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Casey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eugene Dewitt officiating. Entombment will be in Princeton Cemetery.
She was born in Wayne County Nov. 24, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Genes J. Jones and Eliza Jane Overman Jones.
She is survived by her husband, Donald June "Tom" Holloman; daughter, Geneva Michalek of Princeton; brothers Buddy Jones of Princeton, Buck Jones of Princeton, Earl Jones of Princeton and Roy Jones of Kenly; sisters, Betty Hamilton of Princeton, Nellie Ray of Princeton, Gerri Jones of Florida and Mac Hurtman of Florida; grandchildren, Rita Armstrong and husband, Scott, Kathy Parnell and husband, Thomas, Karen Phillips and husband, Mickey, Ric Michalek, Carol Michalek and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Britt, Roxie, Erik, Jay, Nick, Amber, Robbie and Sammy; and great-great-grandchild, Aaron.
Mrs. Holloman was also preceded in death by sisters, Esther Ballance and Sally Thebarge, and a grandson, Robby Michalek.
Although flowers are welcome, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Baker's Chapel Church, 1983 Baker's Chapel Road, Smithfield, N.C., 27577.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
