MOUNT OLIVE -- Hazel Price Hines, 82, died Saturday morning.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. today at Tyndall Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Harrison officiating. Following the service, the family will remain at the funeral home to receive friends and relatives. At other times, they will be at the Frank Hines residence, 524 Eagles Nest Road, Dudley. Committal and burial will be on Monday at 11 a.m. at Pineview Cemetery.
Mrs. Hines is survived by seven children and their spouses, Judy O'Brien and Jerry Ward of Dudley, Laura and Richard Deans of South Carolina, James and Peggy Hines of Seven Springs, Frank and Debra Hines of Dudley, Sandra and John Dail Sullivan of Mount Olive, Tim Hines, and Tip Hines, both of Dudley; six siblings, Harvey Price of Virginia, Polly Price of Winston-Salem, Cletus Price of Durham, Minnie Ruth Gann, Eugene Price, and Violet Dickerson, all of Seven Springs; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were a grandson, John Roland Sullivan; her parents, Clarence H. and Annie Mae Davenport Price; a brother, Wilbur Price; and a sister, Louise Shamel.
