METAIRIE, La. -- Janet Perrault Brignac, 73, died Sunday at home after a lengthy illness.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial Mass at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 448 Metairie Road, Wednesday at 11 a.m. Visitation will be Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until funeral time. Interment will be private.
Janet attended Redemp-torist Girls High School and was a graduate of Dominican High School and Loyola University, where she received a degree in medical technology. She was a lady of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre.
She was the beloved wife of Edmond M. Brignac Jr. for 50 years.
She was the mother of Michele Brignac, DVM, Aimee Brignac, Denise Brignac Smith and Nicole Brignac Barnes and her husband, Donnie; daughter of Aimee Boudoin Perrault and the late Joseph A. Perrault; sister of Joseph A. Perrault Jr.; and grandmother of Wilson Smith, Corinne Smith, GiGi Smith, Aimee Barnes, Langley Barnes, Trey Barnes and Beau Brignac.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the L.S.P.C.A., 1700 Mardi Gras Blvd., New Orleans, La., 70114, or a charity of your choice.
Arrangements are by Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home.
