Elizabeth Howell Murray, 94, passed away Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 7 at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service in the chapel, with Rev. Gary Bailey officiating. Interment will be Friday at 1 p.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Elizabeth was born in Wayne County April 4, 1915, to the late William B. Howell and Addie Radford Howell.
She was a member of Shallowford Christian Church at Elon College.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brothers, Stedman Howell, Floyd Howell, Theodore Howell and William C. "Billy" Howell; her sisters, Inez Cooke, Ethel Pate and Dorothy Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
