REX F. PREAST

Rex Farrell Preast, 60, went to be with the Lord on Monday.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Rex was born in his grandparents' home in West Virginia July 20, 1949. He was the beloved eldest child of Bill and Hazel Preast.
Rex lived near his parents and was a comfort to them.
He served his country in the United States Air Force and retired as a senior master sergeant with 21 years in ground radio communications. Rex spent tours in the Philippine Islands, Taiwan, Florida and Mississippi.
In addition to his parents, he was the older brother of Marvin and Damon Preast, Carol Sue Augustus and Bonnie Koylu.
Rex was a wonderful uncle to Michelle, Laura, Adam, Mandy and Daniel Preast and Michael, James and Jennifer Augustus and Alicia and Ebru Koylu. He has four great-nieces and three great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 930B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C., 27834.
