LAGRANGE -- Dorothy Lee Watson Jones, 76, of LaGrange, passed away to her heavenly home Friday, Jan. 29, 2010.
A service of remembrance will be held Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at 7 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Arnold Ball officiating. Interment will be Wednes-day at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones was born Sept. 15, 1933, in Panama City, Fla., to the late William T. Watson and Idella Ayres Watson. Dorothy attended LaGrange Church of God and has been a homemaker for the past 20 years. She enjoyed time with her fam-ily, sewing, reading and crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband of 56 years, William Earl Jones Sr.; five children, Kathy Marie Pritchett and husband, Hillery, of LaGrange, William Earl Jones Jr. and wife, Martha, of LaGrange, Cynthia Williams of LaGrange, Juanita Schirka and husband, Paul, of LaGrange, William Thomas Jones and wife, Lisa, of Rougemont; two sisters, Allie Mae Arnette of Pensacola, Fla., and Mary Frances Williamson of Warner Robbins, Ga.; brother, Raymond Watson of Altha, Fla.; longtime friend, Mary Lou Rhames Hanna of Rockford, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three great-grandchildren and seven brothers.

She was an angel greatly loved by her family who now has gone home with the Lord. Job 28:28. Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
