Brenda Gail Wiggs Holloman, 48, passed away Wednesday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Mitchell and the Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Burial will be in Newsome Family Cemetery.
Gail was born in Wayne County June 28, 1961, to Grace Gurganus Wiggs of Goldsboro and the late Thomas C. Wiggs.
She was a member of Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, Gail is survived by her son, Jonathan T. Holloman and wife, Tabitha, of Princeton; her brother, Jerry Wiggs and wife, Evelyn, of Stantonsburg; her grandsons, Alex Holloman and Nick Holloman; her fiancée, Lawrence Hoggard; her uncle, Ray Gurganus of Goldsboro; her special aunt, Peggy Parks of Goldsboro; and many special cousins.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a special aunt, Rowena Teachey.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of her mother, 1414 Stoney Creek Church Road in Goldsboro.
