ROSE HILL -- Burke Lambuth Petty, 88, died Tuesday at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Rose Hill Methodist Church.
He was born Nov. 5, 1921, in Durham County to the late Dwight A. and Pearl Griffin Petty.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Rose Hill Methodist Church.
Community Funeral Home in Rose Hill is handling the arrangements.
