Garland Delendo Joyner, 77, passed away Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Friday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with Leonard Downes and Gary Corbett presiding. Interment will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Raleigh Memorial Park.
Garland was born in Nash County to the late Patrick Henry Joyner and Effie Carpenter Joyner.
He owned and operated Riverview Mobile Home Park.
Garland served his country in the United States Army.
Garland is survived by his wife of 55 years, Betty Boykin Joyner; his son, Billy Delendo Joyner and wife, Lisa, of Goldsboro; and his grandsons, Jeremy Delendo Joyner and fiancée, Ashley Chase, and Garrett Delendo Joyner.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Audrey Jeanette Joyner; a granddaughter, Natlie Nicole Joyner; a sister; and five brothers.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. and immediately following the service at Seymour Funeral Home.
