FOUR OAKS -- Herman Jackson, 81, died Tuesday.
The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Mill Creek Christian Church, with the Rev. Jerry Burton officiating. Interment will be in Mill Creek Church Cemetery.
He was the husband of the late Esther Brock Jackson.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda and husband, L.H. Denning, of Four Oaks; sons, Gary and wife, Jennifer Jackson, of Four Oaks, Dennis and wife, Debbie Jackson, of Mount Olive and Timmy Jackson of Four Oaks; a brother, Leonard Jackson of Four Oaks; sisters, Betty Jane Ingram of Newton Grove and Alice House of LaGrange; six grandchilren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at West and Dunn Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home.
