SMITHFIELD -- Bernice Jarman Sutton, 85, died Saturday evening at Smithfield Manor.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Melissa Sutton, 22 Clover Drive in Princeton. A private graveside service will be held for the family Thursday.
Mrs. Sutton was born in Jones County May 14, 1924, to the late Furney Jarman and Pennie F. Smith Jarman.
She is survived by her husband, Ross Benjamin Sutton, and two children.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
