STEVEN S. KINCANNON
Died Dec. 28, 2009
MAURY -- Steven Scott Kincannon, 34, passed away Monday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Services remembering and celebrating Steven will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service in Snow Hill.
Following high school, Steven earned his Associate's Degree and served in the United States Army.
He was very involved with the Boy Scouts and had served as a den leader for Cub Scouts, was a committee member and had worked and served on district levels with scouts and scouting activities. In an effort to continue to help children, he enabled many in his community to have wireless internet capability through his own computers and routers.
Steven is survived by his wife, Deborah Sue Bair Kincannon; parents, Steven A. Kincannon and Dorothy Rosemarie Kincannon of Snow Hill; sister, Rachelle Anne Williams and husband, Randy, of Pikeville; stepdaughters, Carol Ann Bellamy, Angela Nichole Hudome and Samantha McCammon Cooper; paternal grandmother, Betty R. Kincannon of Ohio; maternal grandmother, Angie M. Young of New Hampshire; nephews, Trey Reel and Taylor Scott Williams; a special cousin, Christopher Conolly; stepgrandchildren, Gloria Bellamy and Kaylee Griffin; and several aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends immediately prior to the service Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service of Snow Hill.
