ELISA F. ALEJANDRO

Elisa "Granny" Alejandro, 91, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Memorial services to celebrate the life of Ms. Alejandro will be announced at a later date.
Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Elias and Eladia Diaz Felix and mother of the late Luis Armando Diaz.
She is survived by her daughter, Maria S. Butner of LaGrange; a brother, Elias Felix Jr. of New York, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Wayne Stewart and wife, Andria, of Goldsboro, Elizabeth Stewart of Goldsboro, Kevin Stewart and wife, Patricia, of Jacksonville, Ala., and Kathy Stewart of LaGrange; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Jose' DeDiego Diaz and Thomas Alejandro, and her grandson, Brian Stewart.
Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
