PIKEVILLE -- Jerry Wayne Horne, 58, of 1690 N.C. 581 N., died peacefully Saturday at his residence surrounded by his wife and son.
Graveside services to celebrate the life of Mr. Horne will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Fremont. The Rev. Dann Patrick will officiate.
A native of Wilson County, he was the son of the late Marvin and Eunice Lamb Horne. Mr. Horne was employed with the Goldsboro Housing Authority.
Surviving are his wife, Teresa Hill Horne; son, Ashley Wayne Horne of Goldsboro; sister, Wanda Waddell of Micro; aunt, Josephine Best of Roanoke, Va.
The family requests memorials be made to the family.
The family will receive friends Monday from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
