WARSAW -- Katie W. Hand, 89, 209 Bartlett Road, died Monday at her home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church Bowdens, with the Rev. Harold Boykins officiating. Burial will follow in Bowdens Cemetery.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester Williams and Bettie Smith Bryant.
Five children survive.
A viewing will be held today from 4 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel, and an inspirational wake with the family present will be held tonight from 7 to 9 at First Baptist Church Bowdens.
