James Leon Brown, 60, 131 Wells Brothers Road, died Monday at Duplin General Hospital in Kenansville.
Funeral services will be held at Island Creek AME Church, 1343 W. Charity Road in Rose Hill, Saturday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Robert Goode officiating. Burial will follow at Boney Family Cemetery, West Charity Road in Rose Hill.
He is survived by a son.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 472 Wells Town Road in Rose Hill.
Rose Hill Funeral Home is serving the family.
