HESTER M. LAWHORN

PRINCETON -- Hester Massengill Lawhorn, 89, 280 Princeton Road, died Wednesday at her home.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Billy Nowell and the Rev. Lewis Godwin officiating. A committal service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Overbee Cemetery.
Born May 23, 1920, in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Massengill and Bertie Allen Massengill. She was the widow of Elijah Milton Lawhorn.
She is survived by two daughters.
The family will receive friends tonight at 6 and immediately following the service at Casey Funeral Home.
