ODESSA POWELL
MOUNT OLIVE -- Odessa Powell, 79, of 412 S. Church St., died Thursday at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
She is the daughter of the late Theodore and Martha McCuller Powell.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Best Chapel FWB Church with the Rev. William Waters officiating. Burial will follow in the Cobbs Cemetery, Faison.
Five daughters survive.
A viewing will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. tonight at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel with the family present from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. to receive friends.
