James Miller, 72, 1305 N. Carolina St., died Tuesday at his residence.
His life and service to God and mankind will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Sunday at Original Tabernacle of Prayer for All People, with apostle Lawrence Bogier officiating. His mortal remains will be laid to rest in the Boney Cemetery in Pink Hill.
Precious memories will be cherished by his wife Christine R. Miller; his children, Clint Marable of the home, Ron (Evony) Miller of Dudley, Winnifer (Otis) Scott of Durham and Tiffany Miller of Goldsboro; three brothers; five sisters; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at 1707 Shamrock Ave., where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
