WARSAW -- Melanie "Coote" Rhodes, 89, 1127 NC 24 and 50, died Tuesday, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at from the Hines Chapel FWB Church with the Rev. Braxton Frederick officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late William and Minnie McIver Green.
One sister survives.
Viewing will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. Monday at the Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
