Annie Mae Kenion, 97, of Warsaw, passed Monday at Southwood Nursing and Retirement Center in Clinton.
She was the daughter of the late Alex Kenion and Mary Kornegay.
She retired as educational supervisor for Duplin County Schools.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Missionary Baptist Church, Warsaw, with the Rev. Theodore Thomas officiating. Entomb-ment will be in the Devotional Gardens.
She leaves precious memories with two daughters, Mary Ann (Gaylord) Carlton of Charlotte and Linda Ann (Carnell) Sutton of Goldsboro; seven grandchildren, Jessica (Carl) Johnson of Charlotte, Melissa Ann Carlton of Virginia Beach, Va., Keith Carlton II of Falls Church, Va., Kenneth Sutton of Clayton, Christopher Sutton, Mark Sutton and Michael Sutton of Goldsboro.
A viewing will be held from 2:30 p.m. Sunday until the hour of service at the church.
