Susanna Maria Garcia, 80, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Germany to the late Peter and Maria Audesirk Weiersbach and was married to the late Eduardo Garcia. A homemaker, she was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Goldsboro.

Private services will be held.

Mrs. Garcia is survived by two sons, Eddie Garcia and wife, Angela, of Goldsboro and Pete Garcia and wife, Teena, of Goldsboro; two granddaughters, Amy G. Tidwell and husband, Kalab and Michelle Garcia; niece, Marie Hopkins and husband, Armando; great-niece and nephew, Suzanne Grice and Phillip Hopkins and wife, Vicki; and great-great-niece and nephew, Selena Grice and André Hopkins.

The Garcia family will be receiving friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Thursday at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rosary scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., and at other times will be at the home.
