MAX MCNAIR

Cortez Aaron "Max" McNair, 14, passed away Sunday at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill.
His life will be remembered Thursday with a visitation for family and friends at Seymour Funeral Home from 3 to 5 p.m.
Max was born in Wayne County on May 29, 1994, and was a student at Eastern Wayne Middle School.
He is survived by his mother, Dena Melissa McNair; his brother and sister, Jordan and Breanne; his grandparents, Vicky and Larry Hill of Goldsboro; his great-grandparents, Richard and Ruth Kramer of Goldsboro; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by some very special people in his life, Josh Tracey and John Turner.
He was preceded in death by his great-great-grandmother, Juanita Gooding.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for children's cancer research to the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill, CB#7295, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, 450 W. Drive, Chapel Hill, N.C. 27599.
