Eugene Wilson Hedrick, 308 Forest Drive, died Tuesday at Wake Medical Center.
Burial will be held at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery at the family's convenience.
Surviving is his wife, Haruko Kanna Hedrick.
Mr. Hedrick was a native of North Hill, W.Va., and the son of the late Odessa Barr Hedrick and Arlie Hedrick.
Arrangements are being handled by Evergreen Memorial Service of Goldsboro.
