Our princess, Makayla Gabrielle Gregg, passed away suddenly on Tuesday at her home.
Services to celebrate Makayla's life will be held Monday at Hubbard Chapel Baptist Church in Quitman, Texas. Burial will follow in the Concord Cemetery.
Makayla was born in Wayne County on May 26, 2006, to David Wayne Gregg and Stacy Nicole Hughes Gregg. She was a loving child that had a beautiful smile and beautiful blue eyes.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Braden Alexander Gregg; her maternal grandparents, Wanda and Tommy Hughes of Quitman, Texas; and paternal great-grandparents, George and Wanda Gregg of Greenville, Texas. She is also survived by several aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her memory to the North Carolina Autistic Society, 505 Oberlin Road, Suite 230, Raleigh, N.C., 27605. With your gift in Makayla's memory, you will help autistic children like her brother, Braden.
