LORETTA MAE N. POWELL

Loretta Mae Norman Powell, 69, passed away Friday morning at her home.
Mrs. Powell was born in West Virginia on June 25, 1939, to the late Mr. and Mrs. David Norman. She was a retired nurse with Cherry Hospital.
Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Rose officiating.
Mrs. Powell is survived by her son, David Powell of Goldsboro; her daughter, Carole Smith of Goldsboro; her sister, Peggy Jarrett and Betty Norman, both of West Virginia; her brother, Johnny Norman of West Virginia; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends Sunday following the service at the home of Dick and Jane Swinson, 108 Glenn Drive, Goldsboro.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
