Luby A. Denning, 80, died Saturday morning at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation for Mount Olive.
Private services will be held at the request of Mr. Denning.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late James and Cassie Sutton Denning and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during World War II.
