Margaret Browning Noble Davis, 87, 2200 Glenhaven Lane, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Thursday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Jimmy Whitfield and pastor Billy Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.
A native of Elloree, S.C., she was preceded in death by her husbands James Frederick Noble and Wendal H. Davis. Mrs. Davis was a life member of The First Pentecostal Holiness Church. A retired waitress, she and her husband owned and operated Davis Barbecue and Grill and she had also worked at Wayne Community College.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughters, Annette Abadie and husband Pardee of Fairfax, Va., Sylvia Jean Carter and husband William Ray Carter of Dudley; three grandchildren, Michael Ray Carter of Kernersville, Amy Carter Scott and husband Andrew of LaGrange, and Kevin Abadie of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; two great-granddaughters, Rianna and Kelsey Scott; sisters, Glennie Langston and Jannie Valentine of Cameron, S.C.; brother, William Earl Browning of Elloree, S.C.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral on Thursday at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times will be at her residence.
