EDEN -- Gene Erwin Helms, 68, passed away early Thursday morning at Beacon Place in Greensboro.
A service of remembrance will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Boone-Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel in Eden.
Survivors include a brother, Glenn Helms of Goldsboro.
