ANN G. SYDNOR

CREWE, Va. -- Ann G. Sydnor, 75, passed away at her home on Monday. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Beverly P. Sydnor; her parents, Alfred C. and Ann G. Gay; and her sister, Brenda Watt.
Mrs. Sydnor was retired from Bradley Memorial Hospital in Cleveland, Tenn., as a dedicated nurse for 20 years and was chosen Nurse of the Year in 1978 by the TNA District 14. She also worked in Home Health Care and in nursing homes. After retirement, her and her husband moved to Crewe, Va., which was her husband's hometown. She was a member of Pryor Memorial Presbyterian Church of Crewe for several years serving her Lord as deacon, elder, treasurer, Sunday school and bible teacher.
She was the most loving and devoted mother to her four children, Linda Sydnor of Murfeesboro, Tenn., Tom Sydnor of Crewe, Va., Susan Bergman and husband, Jack, of Goldsboro, N.C., and Kimberly Sydnor of Atlanta, Ga. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Julie Smith, Joey Bergman, Jimmy and Joey Sydnor; nephew, Ted Watt; and, niece, Terry Watt.
Graveside service will be performed by the Rev. Rod Spencer on Wednesday, May 30, 2 p.m. at Crewe Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Pryor Memorial Presbyterian Church, 115 E. Tennessee Ave., Crewe, Va. 23930.
