KINSTON -- Jannie Abell Jones, 95, 1053 Bright Road, died Sunday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Lewis and Mary Wooten Hines.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Rouse's Chapel Church, Rouse Chapel Road, LaGrange, with Dr. Walter C. Coles officiating. Burial will follow in the Old LaGrange Cemetery.
She is survived by three daughters, Emma Roby and Deloris Jones of the home and Georgia Jones of Durham; one grandson, three great-grandchildren; 12 foster daughters and seven foster sons.
Viewing will be Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, Goldsboro.
