MOUNT OLIVE - Mattie Outlaw Bizzell, 79, 373 Lee's Country Club Road, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the New St. Delight United Holy Church with the Elder Quincy Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in Carver Memorial Park.
Mrs. Bizzell was the daughter of the late Mayo and Lizzie Outlaw.
She is survived by five daughters; Andra Bizzell of Brooklyn, N.Y., Minnie Boddie of Tampa, Fla., Kay Oates of Mount Olive, Dorothy Bizzell of Thonotosassa, Fla. and Linda Bizzell of Mount Olive; five sons, Henry Bizzell of the home, Thomas Bizzell of Sacramento, Calif., Ronnie and Kenneth Bizzell of Dudley, Robert Bizzell of Mount Olive; six sisters, Katie Royal of Mount Olive, Elizabeth Thomas of Raleigh, Ada Wooten of Gainsville, Va., Glendalene Howard, Pearlene Outlaw and Annie Howard, all of Washington, D.C.; two brothers, Willie Outlaw of Goldsboro and Thomas Outlaw of Raleigh; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be at Garris Funeral Home chapel today from 4 to 8 p.m. with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.
