ALBERTSON -- Hilda Louise Smith, 90, 129 Lewis Lee Road, died Thursday at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ambrose Ludwell Smith.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Albertson. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill. Visitation was 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Pink Hill Funeral Home and will be held at other times at the home.
She is survived by two daughters, Joette Lee of Albertson and June Ann Goodwin of Raleigh; one son, Ambrose Smith Jr. of Chester, Va.; two sisters, Mary Alice Mewborn of New Bern and Pauline Stroud of Albertson; one brother, Larry Harper of Mount Olive; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
