Lillie Catherine "Pete-Peach" Holmes Smith Hunter, 68, 105 N. Virginia St., died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Graveside service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery with the Rev. H.E. McNair officiating.The family will be assembling at Hamilton Funeral Chapel at 10 a.m.
She was born to the late Norman B. and Lula Mae Bryant Holmes and was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou "Snook" Taylor.
Mrs. Hunter is survived by a son; MSgt. Clarence E. Hunter, Jr.; three grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be tonight from 2 to 6 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel.
