TURKEY - James Bizzell, 65, 1882 New Hope Church Road, died Saturday at his home. He was a native of Lenior County.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Bryant Holy Tabernacle United Holy Church in Snow Hill. Pastor James Kelly and Bishop J.H. Williams, officiating. Burial will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bryant and Ardressie Bizzell and was an ordained deacon at Bryant Holy Tabernacle Church.
Mr. Bizzell is survived by his wife, Mary, of the home; two sons, James Bizzell of Shelby, Minister G. Bizzell of Elizabeth, N.J.; a daughter, Vickie D. Bizzell of the home; four brothers, Major Bizzell of Hillside, N.J., Robert and Jerome Bizzell of Goldsboro, pastor Emanual Bizzell of Roselle, N.J.; a sister, Julia Hawkins of Roselle, N.J.; and two grandchildren.
Viewing will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. Family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 South George Street.
