MEBANE - Sargeant First Class Dannie Lee Lewis, 45, 4509 Forest Lake Drive, died Monday at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the L.N.Forbers Original Free Will Baptist Tabernacle with the Rev. David P. Lowe officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Lewis of the home; three children, Chasree Fuller of Raleigh, Dominique and Daniel of the home.
Viewing will be Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Hunter's Chapel AME Church. The family will be present to receive friends Saturday from 12 p.m. until time of service at L.N. Forbes Tabernacle.
