WARSAW -- Magdalene Suggs Stancil, 90, of 407 N. Frisco St., Warsaw, passed away Friday in Miami, Fla. Mrs. Stancil was a retired educator in the Duplin School System, and a widow of Vernard A. Stancil.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Warsaw Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in the Devotional Gardens at Warsaw. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Community Funeral Home of Warsaw, and at other times at the home.
Mrs. Stancil is survived by daughters, Barbara S. West and husband, George, of Raleigh, and Judith S. Phillips and husband, H.C., of Miami, Fla; brother, Melvin Rouse, of Reno, Nev.; siblings, Johnnie B. MicPhaul, of Raeford, Bruce R. Bennett, of Okeechobee, Fla., and Judy Leigh P. Foil; and eight great-grandchildren.
