GILBERT W. GARRIS

SEVEN SPRINGS -- Gilbert W. Garris, 58, 3523 N.C. 111 south, died Saturday at his home.
He was a retired farmer, a member of Seven Springs Baptist Church and the son of the late A. T. and Mary Price Garris.
His only daughter, Debra Lynn Best, preceded him in death.
Mr. Garris is survived by a granddaughter, April Lynn Best of Goldsboro; a sister, Edna G. Stancil of Seven Springs; and a brother, Allen Garris of Rosewood.
Interment will be in Pineview Cemetery, and at his request, there will be no service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Seven Springs Baptist Church, P.O. Box 55, Seven Springs, 28578.
Family and friends may call at the home of Mrs. Stancil, 4748 N.C. 111 south, Seven Springs.
Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive is handling the arrangements.
