The funeral for Wiley Patrick Shadding will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Arthur Evans officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Canady of Goldsboro and Patricia Shadding of Raleigh; three brothers, Leonard Shadding and Fredrick Shadding of Goldsboro and Franklin Shadding of Philadelphia, Pa.; two sisters, Emma Fennell of Goldsboro and Annie Bryant of Philadelphia; two grandsons; and one granddaughter.
A viewing will be held today from 2 to 7 p.m. at Lightner Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the home, 302 Wilmington Av., where the family procession will line up at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
