KENLY -- Geneva H. Easom, 88, died Friday.
The funeral will be Sunday at 7 p.m. at New Beginnings Community Church, 5334 Lamm Rd., Wilson. A graveside services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev. Jerry Andrews officiating.
Mrs. Easom is survived by three daughters, Glenda J. Mast of Burien, Wash., Iris E. Bass-Moody and husband, Daniel, of Kenly, and Elga E. Owens and husband, Jim, of Wilson; a son, Sammy Easom and wife, Alinda, of Pikeville; eight grandchildren, Marlene Ines, Kevin Easom, Jonathan Easom, Marcus Easom, Spencer Owens, Chad Owens, Tracey Sinclair, Danny Bass; 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Marydan Shean of Raleigh and Jessie Richards of Greer, S.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Gulley Easom; her parents, Daniel M. and Eliza Harris Holyfield; grandchildren, Tony Bass, Christopher Easom, Gregory Mast; and seven siblings.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 7 p.m. at New Beginnings Community Church.
Arrangements are being handled by Joyner's Funeral Home of Wilson.
